inspired.

So, after reading the ever-so-lovely Jess' post, I felt inspired to rant as well.

First of all, I find it absolutely and completely rude to make fun about "lung cancer" when there is a person in the room who has had a father die from the disease. Sure, it's all jokes, but have some respect please. It fucking hurts. And even when I mention that it hurts, I get nothing back. No "sorry". No "my bad". Nothing. At least acknowledge the mistake.

A good number of my friends smoke, and I don't have anything against it. But it hurts nonetheless, knowing what they're doing. And I know they know what they're doing. They know the consequences. I guess, after seeing someone die of lung cancer...it puts me in perspective of it all. Makes smoking that much worse in my eyes.

And when a person says, "I was outside getting lung cancer..." Well, I'm sorry, but that's just fucked up. Joke or not.

I love how watching the randomest of movies can put your life in perspective. I finished watching Gran Torino. And just like American History X, it shows you that there is just no room for hate in life. It makes your life miserable. Instead of hating, you could be loving. Love is so much more freeing, fullfilling.

But of course, it's impossible not to feel hatred towards things. God gave us the freewill to love and hate, and well...hate comes so easily.

And with that, SOMETIMES I FUCKING HATE SOME BITCHES.

Wow, am I a hypocrite or what? Talking about love, and God, and then I go and say something like that.

I guess that's what makes me human. Unfortunately, I can't always use the "human" excuse.

Now I'm just rambling on.

Jessica wrote up an epic, I mean, monumental first draft for our UK itinerary. It was amazing. I want to add to it when I'm not so fed up with the computer.

Well, that's that for now. Check out the Josh Ryan interview we did @ simplytwilight.com

you shall desire me.

Today I went to Soup Plantation for my friend, Katie's, surprise birthday party. Of course, that makes no sense to me since her birthday is in March. But whatever floats the boat, I suppose. She's always wanted a surprise party, so we did it. I just love seeing all my friends, and talking about the most random shit ever. Our group's conversations usually revolve around parenthood and babies. Several of my friends are now mothers.
I had delicious salad with italian dressing. I had pizza, biscuit, fruit, blueberry muffin, and frozen yogurt with sprinkles and chopped nuts.
I love seeing my friends, whom I rarely see.
I then proceeded to go to Michael's with my friend, Antoinette. I love the craft store; sometimes there are good prices. Sometimes.
I bought this weird ass pecan bar, a lollipop, and stick on diamonds for my masquerade mask that I still have yet to create. I may just stick them on my face...it depends. I want to feel pretty.

I got the Pheromone Shimmery Diva Dust that I ordered from the Slumber Party, today. It's like the finest body glitter you'll ever see. Since it has pheromones, you won't be able to help but like me when you're around me.
Me at a bar in Seattle: "Oh, hello, nice to meet you..."
Guy at bar: "FORGET THE NICETIES, LET ME BUY YOU A DRINK!"
"I don't want a drink..."
"LET ME BUY YOU A MANSION THEN."

Pretty much. I guess I'll never know if someone truly likes me, or if it's the pheromone enhanced glitter.

I finished the Josh Ryan interview finally. It's been nagging at me. I edited the best I could. Yay.

I think I'll paint most of tomorrow. Yes, that sounds good.

I hope I get the refund for the dress soon. FML if they don't give it to me fully.

Lastly, please take a listen to this:

i've never given much thought to how i'd die...

...but Jessica has.

So, everyone, say your goodbyes to me before I leave for Washington on the 24th. Jessica has several ways for ending me, the only thing is: which will she choose?

1) push megan off a cliff at first beach
2) push megan off a cliff at second beach.
3) find an ant hill in forks that is home to those fire ants - push megan into the ant hill
4) leave megan in victoria, Canada and steal her passport
5) get megan drunk in port angeles and convince her to fall asleep in a garbage can
6) drown megan in the pacific ocean
7) sell megan to the angry fish mongers in seattle
8) sell megan to the chinese in chinatown in seattle
9) get megan drunk and leave her in downtown seattle and the newborns/crackheads get her
10) push megan off the ferry while en route from PA to victoria

And in the words of Jessica, "I'm totally going to pull a 300 move as I'm pushing you... but instead of saying.. 'THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAAA,' I'm going to say... 'THIS IS LA PUSH BABYYYYYYYYY.'"

For those who I will not get to say goodbye to: it was nice knowing you.

bueno.

Today was a good day I believe.

I woke up, had some pancakes, and watched American History X. Let me tell you, that was a bloody good movie. Wow! Edward Norton is a genius. The ending, of course, was sad. (Spoilers ahead). I had a feeling someone would die, but I was never sure of who. And, wow...just wow. That was absolutely greusome, and watching Edward Norton's character run into the school, yelling to let him through, and just...holding his brother. Needless to say, I was bawling. Brilliant film; watch it.

After that, I showered, slipped on my brand new TMNT t-shirt, which is the most amazing thing ever. A pulled on my brand new high top chucks. Did my makeup, put in some earrings, and my irreplaceable black gelly bracelets...

I picked up my paycheck today. My second to last paycheck from the job I got laid off from. My last one is July 5th, and that's like a 40 dollar paycheck. I'll end up getting one more paycheck before I head up to Washington. So, I won't be destitute while I'm up there, but I won't be spending anything either. I'm hoping that if I don't needlessly spend cash I have, then I'll have enough money to buy the Dublin plane ticket in August. I'm hoping to only spend money on the hotel at TwiCon, and money for food and drinks. I don't want to wait passed August to get it. August is my cut off month, if I have too, I'll borrow more money. FUCK. Wait...I still need to pay the sister back. Gah. I'll figure something out.

I got complimented at work today. I was so surprised. He even said my work was "brilliant". That was a first. It made me want to come back. Heh. That's what I'm talking about. People that work need to be complimented every once in a while in order for them to do better, and try harder. Sure, money is enough to make a person do their best, but when they get complimented, well, they usually end up trying 10 times harder. I'm getting an extra few hours in this week as well. Thursday and Friday. Sweet.

So now, I've realized I have several things to do.
1. Top secret web site thing that I should get in tonight (ahem, Jess?)
2. Josh Ryan interview
3. Chapter 2 outline
4. Supermassive Black Hole video (I need to record myself)

I need to get number one done tonight, number two done tomorrow, and the rest sometime this week. Especially before June 14th, when everyone turns in their SMBH videos and I have to spend two days putting them together.

Anyway, God bless.

30 minutes until monday.

I've been wanting to write something all day, but I just don't have anything interesting to talk about. So, please bear with my absurdities.

First off, I want to destroy my sister's new little kitten, Jasper, because he's chewing on my wires. Bad kitty.

Secondly, I really want to see Where the Wild Things Are. Refer to trailer below:

By the way, the song playing is "Wake Up" by Arcade Fire. Beautiful song. It's on my iPod for life.

Well, tomorrow I have work and I don't want to go. It's only for two hours, but I don't know. I just don't want to go. I'd rather be home planning Jess and my trip to the UK, or reading, or writing a top secret novel -- whichever. But I need the money.

I'm rereading The Host. I absolutely adore that book. It's amazing. Sure, it starts off slow, but when you really get into it...it's hard to put down.

I tried working on several ST things today, but failed. I just couldn't get into it. I'll probably work on them tomorrow. I've been so apathetic to Twilight lately, but I still love the fandom and the friends I've made through it. It's all irreplaceable.

I feel like wearing my TMNT shirt right now, just because.

clothes that don't suck.

So, I went to the mall today. Yes. I. Did. I didn't plan on buying anything, but I did. But it's all stuff I needed.

Like this:

I also got a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle shirt...which I can't find a picture of. But it's pretty epic.

And then I got my shoes for my ball gown:

Oh, and I bought a ring pop, strawberry. Yay.

That is all!

i'd do this if i were you.

I'd click that little picture right there and participate if I were you. Just sayin'...
